This has been on my mind for a bit, so I wanted to vent out while ask this question:
What is GreatAwakening's take on enjoying works made by wicked people?
As a Christian, I fully understand the notion of everyone falling short of God, but the wicked people I am referring to usually are the known or suspected Satanists (like Lady Gaga) or Globalist pawns (like Rhianna). Their earlier works are enjoyable, but I am not sure if I should continue to enjoy them given their reputation...
Judge them by their actions. I don't listen to Taylor Swift anymore. She is socially divisive and an active tool of the left.
Rihanna for example, is also very outward about her politics

However, her influence is limited. She rarely records new music, she's not in any movies, she mostly sticks to herself and markets her lingerie/clothing line and profits off her royalties
So I don't mind listening to her on occasion, because she's at this point a has been and listening to Umbrella is as benign as listening to Rock You Like a Hurricane or Minnie the Moocher
I'd look at this way. The majority of commetcial music recorded "for the Lord" is sheer garbage. It's salting the salt. It's tepid and uninspired. I can name a few truly good Christian songs, yes, they're out there.
I hard it incredibly hard to believe that truly beautiful, artistic music is a sin. That something like https://youtu.be/tZR20RJcY4w is sending me to hell and I should instead listen to https://youtu.be/1thVi6T9rEo The Corinne song purely and accurately represents the sanctity and intimacy of my marriage whereas the St James song is a joke of a pop song written to push abstinence.
If all Christian music was this...I would get it

But it's not...so do yourself a favor and in the words of Rihanna "Please don't stop the music!"
Good point why is Christian music largely such Trash if indeed it is divinely inspired?
Almost like it's that on purpose to push kids the other direction
Precisely..it's incredibly nefarious. Holier than thou..in fact Tech n9ne has a brilliant point he made in a song
"This verse was intended for a gospel rapper that we all admire And he goes by the name of Da T.R.U.T.H All we wanted was a righteous man to lead us in the right direction And maybe if he came we could change and regroup So we laid it down and sent it hopin' we would rap wit us, track splittas Waited, and none of his people got back wit us We kept callin' and they finally answered, when a month passed We was prepared to do whatever, give it if he wants cash But the lady who represent 'em would never Send 'em a message from a secular messenger"
