My instinct is not to trust this. They will denounce themselves if it keeps them in power to continue doing what they do. Then the sweepers come along to whisk all the controversy away. It could be she is trying to save her political career by joining the other side (without any real change of heart), but that is unlikely unless the "keep-you-in-line" network is in much worse shape than we can see.

I don't think we'll know what's going on with Tulsi until we see how this plays out. Watching how the old guard leadership treats her, will expose much.
