Pompeo has a really long track record of being spot on and highly intelligent in what he says and does. I think he's got this one wrong. I will stipulate:

1. He still gets access to non-public, and potentially classified, foreign affairs information as a consequence of his former roles in gov't.
2. Trump also supports Ukraine publicly
3. Q states that misinformation was a necessary tool of the trade

I'm not precisely sure what the game is here, but I'm not a sheep. I think for myself and my opinion is that this is not our fight. The US has no business being involved in Ukraine. If Russia wants to annex the whole country, I'm perfectly fine with it. It would improve the smell from the puppet government installed by Hussein in 2014. Hell, getting Zelensky to change that fucking T-shirt he pretends to be a soldier in would be an improvement. This is Europe's problem to deal with, not ours. I see no vital national security interest in maintaining Ukraine as a dirt ass poor hub for drug, arms, sex, and human trafficking into Europe.

Until I receive compelling information that there is an vital US interest there, I hope that Putin wins and does so quickly so as to minimize the amount of damage that must be done in the transition.

P.S. Hunter Biden and the DoD running an illegal bioweapons program in Ukraine is not my problem. Covering it up is not in the interest of my country. Expose the whole damn thing. It shouldn't have happened. Those responsible need their heads mounted on pikes for what they've done, given what I've read about specifically engineering the diseases to target specific ethnicities of human populations, and to use biting insects as vectors to spread the diseases. Dozens of local outbreaks have been documented over the years from cholera, tularemia, plague, and others. Thousands have already been sickened or killed. May justice be done and swiftly.
