She's Samoan... Not eligible to run for office in America.

This needs digging - it is still murky.

From the ever-reputable wikipedia:

American Samoa is the only major territory of the United States in which citizenship is not granted at birth, and people born there are considered "non-citizen nationals".

I believe they can apply and get US citizenship, which Tulsi had to have done to both be an officer in the military and a rep in congress.

The real question would be - is she natural-born and my assumption would be she is NOT. She did run for POTUS before but this didn't come up (I don't think so anyway). It needs confirmed before she decides to run.

The standard is "natural born" which basically means there is no law defining citizenship. A naturalized citizen is not eligible to be President.

Only people like me brought this up when she ran for president. Same with Obama, as well as McCain and Romney.
