What do you think accounts for increasingly extreme views on abortion? I’m not in the heads of those people. I think it reflects where they are with their view of what place women should have in our society. They want to relegate women to traditional roles where they haven’t had a voice and aren’t participating in political life or professional life. I think that reflects a basic lack of respect for women and lack of trust in the decisions women make on behalf of their families.

Yeah, that's it. It has nothing to do with caring for the lives of ALL human beings, whether born or on the way to being born.
