What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
Thank you for all your prayers and support. I am getting over the shock of my s-i-l's sudden death and keeping it together by doing end of season garden chores. Yesterday a kind neighbour gave me a much needed hug. Please spare a prayer for my daughter and David's mum, it would have been his birthday today. Will be a hard day for them to get through. God bless.
We'll give you a big old group hug here! πππ
Thanks!
I'm sorry for your loss, I know it's difficult and you're trying your best to stay strong and keep busy for your daughter. Hugs and prayers to you all.
Iβm praying for you and for them. Hereβs a big π₯°.
Thank you, God bless.
I am so sorry for your family's loss. My mum used to call it the 'year of firsts' after someone passed. First birthday ,first Christmas, first anniversary without them. Its so very hard. I am sending lots of prayers ,hugs and best wishes to you all.
So true...too many "firsts" ...π
Iβm so sorry Undine, just reading about this now.
It is said that "time heals all wounds" but when we lose a loved one, we find that love transcends time and actually carries us through our grief and sustains us. Faith, hope and love...but the greatest of these all is love. Praying that God will continue to demonstrate His great love to your family as you walk the path of healing.
That is beautiful and comforting.
Thank you for your kind messages. Our loved ones live on in our hearts.
Bless you. A couple of days ago I spent the morning in prayer and made peace with God. When someone we love gets torn away its hard not to feel let down. I had to remind myself that His love, wisdom and mercy is greater than our understanding. Maybe David was spared something worse. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, He knows best. Thank you for your prayers: much needed and appreciated. So wish I could be with my daughter at this time.
