I can tell you from experience downtime can be Milliseconds or multiple hours. It depends what is being done and what resources are available.
For example, the $1.5bil retail company I worked for would have 10-60min downtown for routine maintenance and they are like 50% profit so have shitloads of money to have up to date hosting, redundancies and cloud hosting when necessary
That thinking is too simple. Sometimes Occam's Razor cuts out the important context.
Context such as: how often do the .wins go down? What is the typical timeframe for a maintenance shutdown?
