I have only recently come to the conclusion that Revelations was written for the early Church and that Daniel's prophecy about the "Prince that shall come put an end to sacrifices and oblations" was fulfilled by Christ, who was the final sacrifice, who ministered for 3.5 yrs, and the other maths also add up, and that these days Christians are being told misinformation and being prepared for a never coming rapture, trying to line up already fulfilled prophecies concerning a fake state of Israel full of fake Jews, and looking for a nonexistant "future antichrist" when in fact, the papacy and every pope is the antichrist (in christ's place), and the restrainer in Thess. was the Roman Caesar who was restraining the papacy from coming to be.
It is all very "new" yet old. It only starts making sense when you learn about just how permeated the vatican is in all religions and govts
I think revelation was meant for a time after Christ, and the time for the end of days. Just because similar events happened does not mean revelation has happened in whole and nothing else is left to be fulfilled. I truly believe we are living in the last days. And yes I’m aware many before me have made the same claims for thousands of years. My gut feeling tells me the last hour of man is now.
Could be, could also be thousands of years away... my view at this point is to continue with what Jesus taught us to do and be like, and march the world toward Heaven. I see nothing good coming from preachers who "interperet" Revelation or "prophetic" ministries... which further convinces me they're missing the point. You may be correct in saying Revelation also means things for us today but in the grand scheme I just have this gut feeling that it's a rabbit hole to oblivion, and it's better to focus on the clear instructions Jesus gave us. I have tried to hear out tons of takes on it and this is the only one that gels with the rest of scripture for me
