I believe The West is in this fight because it sees its best chance of ousting the Putin regime in recent history.

I believe that Putin is not cabal controlled so they want him out then he can be replaced with one of the corrupt dimwits we seem to have everywhere else in The West. Think of some names: Biden, Trudeau, Truss, Macron, Scholz, Ardern, Albanese, Von Der Leyen.

The idea is to prolong the conflict so long that the Russian people start to lose faith in their leadership. This ties in with the western media being so biased. Putin takes a city and it is hardly mentioned in the media but if a Russian tank is destroyed then it is all over the news.
