It appears that Gregg is mainly concerned with OpSec and the people sharing their location and data that are involved in the pit and analytics are targets. Surface users may be at risk of data being taken from their contact lists, call logs, photos, location, browser history, online purchases and other online accounts and logins. If he's seen evidence that any of this is the case but that giving his evidence would out a good guy, then he's perfectly justified in putting that out. He already said nobody will heed it, because of reactions like this- emotion before thought.
