Wasn't the vote today for the Vaccine for Kids Program? Read this an hr ago: https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-committee-recommends-covid-shot-cdcs-free-vaccine-program-2022-10-19/

Also, Just saw a headline in the SF Chronicle from 11 mins ago that says the CDC did not mandate the vax for school kids. It is behind a paywall and I'm not paying to read that rag, so don't have more info.
