u/ChronicMetamorphosis I appreciate your efforts to try something new and to also get anons back into thinking more about Q posts and deciphering.
It's just a post and people can choose to spend time on it or not to.
For those that have gotten all bent out of shape about wasting their time on it, or complaining about it being stickied, that's their choice. Part of having the ability to discern is to choose what to read and how much time to spend on it. There are few things easier in life than scrolling by a post. Everyone had that choice and could have made it.
At the end of the day, we each choose what to read, regardless of whether it's stickied or not. Most active anons read way more than the stickies. They switch to new and rising and most importantly look elsewhere for good content to bring back and share.
I would much rather you keep trying new things to keep the board spicy, than hang your head at some of the negativity you stirred up.
I know you won't hang your head, but I want others on the board to know it's okay to make good efforts and try new things.
The only way one can expand their comfort zone is to step outside of it. The more often one steps out of their comfort zone the bigger their comfort zone gets. That's a lesson for life, not simply here on this board.
