2 weeks ago I picked a beautiful pink rose outside my house that I get every year and quickly put it in a bud vase to enjoy for a few days. I still have pictures from previous years. I put it in the vase and filled with my filtered water and took a 2 hour nap. When I woke up it was COMPLETELY wilted. The same thing happened in May but it had a tear in the stem close to the bud so I thought that was why it wilted quickly and put it in unfiltered tap water. I have no idea what's going on with the city water but the fact it basically killed a freshly picked rose in less than 2 hours was alarming. Since then I have been boiling any water I drink. I live in Cincinnati Ohio. I already have numerous health issues that started after the 1976 shot and don't need to make things worse. This is a repeat from a post a week ago that not many saw but I think is important.

Until you repeat this experiment with R/O water you purchased from the grocery store, this is just an anecdotal observation. You can't take an observation like this, and completely jump to a sinister conclusion without testing further.
I'm not saying you're wrong, just that you need to use a scientific method of analysis.
I once ate a burrito and developed violent diarrhea. Since then, I've boiled every burrito and have been totally fine.
I work in roses professionally, we propagate 11m rose cuttings annually. I have seen similar issues, generally when mildew or disease is present they defoliate and wilt rapidly. Sensitive to too wet, and too dry simultaneously. If you really want to deduct that reasoning, send rose tissue off for analysis.
Can't afford it between all the supplements I take for 5 autoimmune diseases and inflation it's all I can do to keep my house at 60 degrees in the winter and eat cheap food.
simple and inexpensive solution, if you are concerned about tap and other waters that you are around...where i live, we have well water, so after seeing stains in my white sinks, i tried zerowater brand pitcher/filters from amazon...they include a TDS (total dissolved solids, basically everything) meter with pitcher...you will be amazed at the junk allowed in tap waters...even fridge filters don't do much, if anything...highly recommend give it a try if you are concerned...
Buy an over the counter water filter through Amazon. We have been using one for about 2 months and it is amazing how sweet the water tastes. I drink it with a squeeze of lemon.
My water tastes great with my filter which is why I was so surprised. I have a Rainsoft system that softens my water then an additional filter added to the kitchen sink. The last 6 years my pink rose lasted about 5 days after picking and putting in a vase with my water. \Why is it different this year in May and October.
Hmmm...strange.
Didn't we see this post last week?
Why are you posting this again?
I believe I stated that in the last sentence.
I was concerned about the water where I used to live. I set out a glass of tapwater and of several bottled waters and let them evaporate. The glass with the tapwater became completely white and muggy. Disgusting. I do filter my water and keep some boiled water in a kettle on the stove as needed.
I use tap water from a barrel infused with zeolite, I transfer what i use to 2 litre sealed glass jars with activated noble shungite in them
Tastes like fresh mountain glacier water.
Filtered water is bad for plants it has no nutrients left in it. Ro/Di is even worse as it sucks minerals right out of the plant.
You might want to invest in a condenser, that way you will remove all the impurities.
