You believe fact checkers?? 🤣🤣
China or France - they have foliage growing up between them. Kinda of like a mothball fleet. “ Yeah we can sell em!” Car manufacturer did not reply for comment.🤣🤣🤣
a couple of problems with the fact check:
the cars in the circulated photo are parked almost willy-nilly, whereas the cars in the fact check photos are more neatly arranged.
the cars in the original are clearly parked on a wild area, with grass and plants grossing up around them. The AFP photos show cars sitting on a muddy field. This could be an earlier photo of course, but if so, why are the cars so haphazardly arranged in a seemingly newer picture?
Results: Inconclusive
There are some weird things here, but it could just be a photo of a different parking lot. Maybe the guy who manages one lot is a little more anal about keeping things straight and orderly than the manager of another.
Or they could be abandoned in a field.
Who the hell knows?
Seems like a pretty thorough investigation of the photo/meme, however, it still represents a massive graveyard of about 3000 nearly new vehicles literally put out to pasture. Does it matter whether it's China or France?
"Does it matter whether it's China or France?"
Yup...
Same as any False Meme. Ammo for "Lookie there at them Tin Foil Guys"
Just go for the TRUTH

Agreed. I just meant that the story is still shameful.
It does seem pretty obvious that someone intentionally labelled it as Paris in order to set up a debunk embarrassment.
Yup
Not that gay it's still a pile of worthless electric cars, per your link.
