Do you have a dog? A dog can get his mind set on a thing. Sometimes no verbal command can reach him, if his hunt instinct is strong. But a tap on the head and boop! they look up. They stop their "train of thought."
So too you can do this to yourself. Every time you think a negative thought, tap your left wrist with your right index finger. Or in her case, she's tapping her temple (much more obvious/intrusive). It can interrupt the brain from its train of thought. And when done/received properly, can set the person up to receive a new instruction (like "Remain calm. Think of sitting on the sand, facing the ocean." or whatever).
BOOP.
The mind is a computer. It can be hacked. For good. Or ill. You decide. And please be kind. ;)
EDIT: I will add, for the Christians in the house here, that this is not deviltry. This is part of you (your mind and soul) gaining command of your meat. Pastor Norman Vincent Peale, a person for whom I (and Donald Trump!) have a lot of respect, was a proponent of "imaging", which hypnotists would call "future pacing" or "visualization". The BOOP (tapping) is just a way to Press Start on a visualization "program" that you pre-loaded into your brain with self-talk (self-hypnosis).
Wish to do evil, thou shalt do evil. But wish to do good, thou shalt do good.
So please do good.
" ... for there is nothing either good or. bad, but thinking makes it so." - Shakespeare
I will add a "Norman VIncent Peale sort of command" to a BOOP.
I want to stop pulling my eyelashes out (thank God I do not have this odd affliction).
So, every time I pull an eyelash, I tap my wrist or temple and say "Lord, thank you for all that you do, and for the sense of calmness you give me every time I call Your Name. And thank you for my beautiful, full, lustrous eyelashes."
Peale would say it is important to thank God before the gift you want arrives. It drives your Faith. It demonstrates your Faith. It is calming.
Here this is an interrupt, a command (Stop. Be calm.) and a future pacing using one of the universe's super powers (Gratitude). And I would add Humility.
VERY powerful stuff.
In this you can do anything. In the Lord's name. And with the help of your brain, and your meat.
That's interesting, I've never heard of such a thing.
Tapping, or MK Ultra?
Both are real.
