Midterms around the corner, your thoughts on the Nevada candidates??
MIDTERMS DISCUSSION
I’ve been seeing polls where Reps are in large lead (not factoring independents or undecided either) NV people’s, what are your thought on the candidates and should we watch out for anything??
P.S. this may be one of many threads to come! Participation is appreciated
Felt the same. Did my hw for the primaries, and many strong conservative candidates got voted out. Sam Brown and Joey Gilbert were my chosen candidates for Senate and Gov, respectively.
I had written to Mark Amodei regarding True the Vote and 2020 election fraud, and from his reply I'd rather write in a candidate than ever give him my vote.
Yes, Gilbert was robbed. Laxalt was robbed of the governorship in 2018 with the same overnight shenanigans we saw in 2020. Went to bed with the race actually called for Laxalt only to wake up in the morning to find that all the races had flipped. I am really not holding my breath. The politics in Nevada have been corrupt for so long it is hard to get too excited. The only way I can see significant wins is by the turnout being so large that it breaks the cheat.
Other than some of the work Amodei did for the vets, I don't have much use for him either. He started out good but has turned out to be disappointing. But, he is still a hell of a lot better than the Dems in this state. I am getting so sick of voting for hold your nose Republicans.
There. You hit the nail on the head. “Hold your nose Republicans” describes it perfectly.
Have voted for more of them than I care to remember.
I despise Amodei. Every time I have written to him about a concern the response was essentially, "Too bad, so sad, I'm going to do what I want!" Way to treat your constituents!
