Oh my God. What’s a kid doing with Gatorade anyway, it’s awfully unfit for consumption.🤮
My day, well, wake up, immediately turn the work computer on, check up the system mails, then help colleagues with issues, then as I just was about to attend our Daily StandUp, the garage calls me to urge me to bring the car asap. So I drive through Bern, leave the car to their expert hands, then walk back and now, everything is doing itself at work so I look for both stuff to share on gaw whilst expecting our little morning chat (highlight of my day) and also checking on ways to cook our remaining 5 pounds of quince.🥳
I thank God I have more than enough not to be looking for ways to survive: when I was 21, I left my parent’s flat to live indebted in a cold tiny student room with sometimes 15 USD (equivalent) to eat for a month. Dehydrated soup, crackers and Nutella copy were my diet for the whole winter 91-92. Now way I am eating either crackers or Nutella now.🤓
God bless you. Good luck with the quince. Since the weather has been running a bit cold lately, I believe tonight I will make a nice pot of 'potato' soup with a bit of chicken and broccoli added and to finish it off, some nice cheddar cheese. Warms the cold bones.
Thanks Mary, I don’t need luck, just to focus and let my creativity sink in. I guess I with make some Quince paste and its jelly, then also cook a celery/quince/lard gratin, then I will dice the rest and use it as a bed for roasted poultry.😋
Sounds great. We don't have quinces where I live. They are not native to my state or maybe even my country. I'm sure we have them imported in but I wouldn't know what to do with them. I leave that to those "CHEFS" like you.
