So, with the comment specifically saying they will follow the law of the land, what land?

Anywhere were Twitter is available?

So mis-gendering is hate speech that needs to be censored and when the US gov asks what they are doing to fight its definition of misinformation and conspiracy, Elon-Twitter is going to bend over for censorship all the same?

And for so-called advertisements to be "shown to Twitter users as relevant as possible to their needs" means continuing to share/sell users' data to advertising agencies to know what their "needs" even are.
