Article after article I keep seeing how DeSantis will be Trump's Rival for 2024, and bots on Twitter are trying to pretend to be Conservative and back DeSantis over Trump.

I agree.

Desantis should save his money, and if he does decide to go against Trump in 2024 he is done from that point on.
