This is kind of a "mystical interpretation" AKA I might have been projecting, but when I watched GF3 in the fairly recent past, I was getting serious "they're sacrificing Mary Corleone to make these deals" vibes.

Michael's daughter played by Francis Ford Coppola's daughter.

My intuition was screaming pedophile sacrifice.

Given the Q context, and angle to consider, I think.
