In an attempt to defame the Rio de Janeiro Book Biennial, a Bolsonar Internet user posted on social media photos of a book for adults, available at a fair in the Netherlands - even with a price tag in euro - claiming that it was a publication sale at the Rio event. The post by production engineer Hudson generated several shares and comments, but it was another fake news from bolsonaristas, as was the "dick bottle".
"So that's what the Book Biennial is all about, a well-known event of 'education and motivation to read'?! Pay close attention to the books and magazines that your children acquire and ALERT with sobriety", Hudson wrote, indignantly.
In the publication, he attached photos of the cover and excerpts from the book "As gémeas marotas", (The Naughty Twins) which is neither Brazilian nor for children. The work was released in the 1970s in Portugal, re-released in 2012, and is signed by the pseudonym Brick Duna.
The work in question, in fact, is a parody made for adults, as it contains engravings with sex scenes. However, it is not a book sold in Brazil, as the publication of the Bolsonarista Hudson led to believe.
