On on that note: I'd like to share my interpretation / understanding of scripture:
Most of the content in scripture regarding end times etc, is in symbolic and parable terms, just like many of Jesus' teachings. So, the "end times" is not the end of the world, and not catastrophic events that destroy the natural material world, but rather these are symbolic representations of the END of Satan's world, and the beginning of the world under NEW MANAGEMENT aka God's sovereignty.
