I would find this hard to understand, as there are some important telegram channels that are providing news and information about Ukraine and other world political events, mostly favorable toward Russia (and even paid by them).
I don't think I have any preconceived notions, but I agree that it is jumping the gun to assume out of hand that Telegram as a medium is all one color. It's like Twitter or YouTube. Anyone can play. As I understand it, Telegram is not in the business of censoring participants.
