I’ve been rewatching the “Friends” episodes on streaming and I see what you are saying. I look at them with a critical eye thinking “awe man, why didn’t I see what this was projecting then?”. But I still like the show. I bet the same is true for even shows like *MASH.

I haven’t watched any newer TV or even movies for about 20 years, so I can only imagine the propaganda that has escalated.
