And 10 is binary for 2.

And ternary for 3. And base 4 for 4. And so on. That’s just an artifact of the place value system, not some special link between 10 and 2.

It shouldn’t be at all surprising that you introduce binary and get something related to the number 2, or hexadecimal and get the number 16…
