From what I understand the supply is our reserve, not how much we have available. It's moreso our emergency amount in case the faucet stops: we'd only have 25 days worth. Otherwise supply chain for diesel is normal (for COVID/Biden times). Life would come to a SCREECHING halt if diesel ran out, as diesel literally runs our world.

Very true. Both our trucks and our railroads need diesel to keep going.
