Once again Joe Biden showed us and the world that he is severely mentally impaired and is in no shape to be anywhere near the oval office.
This time he made the insane claim that if lightening should ever strike and knock out the power you can simply plug in your electric vehicle and the car’s battery will light up the house.
Biden then made it worse by saying “I’m not joking.”

The Ford F-150 electric has the ability to do that. Extra cost for the Home Integration Pro, but it is possible.
Ford says a fully charged Lightning with the extended-range battery pack can power your entire house for up to three days. If you're careful with your power consumption, Ford estimates it'll power your home for up to 11 days.

So... is the claim insane? Either way this is just another distraction. You can plug in a gas generator too. And guess what: Neither the generator nor the gas will go bad in a couple years (or weeks in some cases).
Gas does in fact “go bad” after about 6 months unless you treat it for storage even then it only lasts a year or two
No, it's the ethanol that gums up and "goes bad."
Ethanol free gas doesn't have those problems, and also doesn't void your warranties on your gasoline powered tools.
Thanks, I did not know that.
