The idea of computer-programmed machines counting ballots in American elections in the manner that we have now has always been the most ridiculously insane acceptable social norm I've ever heard of in my entire life. The fact that people are OK with this is mind-numbingly retarded. It opens up literally countless possibilities for fraud and cheating.
