US tax system is very fair for low income earners.

Compare that to western Europe and low income earners in the west EU on average pay MORE income taxes than their US counterparts.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the end of the day, don't we end up even with all of our extraneous taxes like sales tax, property tax, gas tax, etc?
