Even in absence of that, I don't think kids should be directly participating in politics.

One of the best things a kid has is their innocence, and part of that innocence has the benefit of letting adults worry about the current political atmosphere.

Kids should be studying, socializing, playing games, reading books, picking up some hobbies or crafts.
