If this is accurate, shit is getting real.

Except he’s wearing the 101st ABN crest (eagle) not 82nd.
Good catch, I was hoping for these types of observations
Interesting. The 101 is bivouacked 3 klms inside the Ukrainian border in Romania. According to Colonel Douglas MacGregor who has been giving excellent updates - worked in Trumps team - they have been sending out scouting teams into Ukraine itself and he said a week ago Russian will be watching their every move. If they go into Ukraine they will be killed.
It is hard to say. When this photo was taken, he may have been assigned to the 101st. Without knowledge of his duty assignment history, you can't tell from this picture.
Also, I don't know if they still do this or not, but when I was in we had regimental affiliations. I was in an infantry unit but was affiliated with Signal Corps. It may be that way with Division affiliation too, but I don't know.
LT not captain as much as I can see on his boards. And no one poses with hands in pockets in uniform. [Maybe he got promoted after this photo?]
He is definitely a 1LT here. Also, this photo was prior to going to combat, s he is wearing an EIB (Expert Infantry Badge) instead of the CIB (Combat Infantry Badge). He would definitely have that as his lapel insignia is infantry as is the blue cord.
And please spare me with the Telegram lecture I don’t have an account.
We know there are Special Forces teams all over Ukraine. Both US and UK. When the Ukie "offensives" started in September there was an awful lot of English chatter from Ukie comms and they had no accents.
Eliminated? Just him? How?
Smells like BS
I saw this on Intel Slava Z they post alot of dead body videos and trophies including passports. If Intel Slava Z said it .... I'm guessing it's accurate Intel.
There's also an international merc unit operating in the Ukrainian forces.
We have already been at war. When we buy weapons and not food as support, that means we are at war.
So... A Russian flag, a Ukrainian flag and an American flag (emojis) beside his name and current rank in this notification?
"eliminated"? Don't we usually say "killed"?
If this is true . . .
RIP, Captain Kim. 🙏
According to the International Legion of Defence of Ukraine, he was a member of their group. His call sign was Kilo, and his group was referred to as Team Kilo. He was killed with other Ukrainians during a Russian attack. In the US Army, we refer to that as KIA, or Killed in Action.
We do say “killed”, however they commonly use verbiage like that, “liquidated” “eliminated” its all the same. But this if true is the start of something ugly, those two divisions were told to stay away from frontlines but hey anything is possible
Thanks for the response. In your opinion he was killed, not just removed from his role (captured) is how I'm reading this.
Why do you suppose all three flags are represented in the text? Was the young Captain on some sort of peacekeeping mission to bridge the divide?
Agreed that this doesn't bode well for international relations.
Could have been a “former NATO” volunteer that joined The Armed Forces of Ukraine possibly, but seeing how they said weapon inspection would be the task maybe they’re just making sure the brand new shiny M777 howisters still exist and function properly 🤷🏼♂️ All speculation though
