On your keypad go to the numbers / math glyphs.
Type 4 Asterix like this👉 **** before, and after the word(s). They must bump right up to the letters or punctuation marks with no spaces.

In the box where you write your comment there is a B at the top left of the box. When you high-light a selection and click the B it becomes bolded. I don't know about mobile devices, I use a laptop.
