Why you still call him Fetterman, as he indicated his favored noun: Fetterwoman.

Fetter: chain or shackle by which a person or animal is bound by the feet

His wife is his handler. One could argue he is "chained or shackled by the feet" per the presence of his handler-wife. He is literally just a cutout so she can get the Senate seat and make all the decisions without being publicly scrutinized.
