Don’t you think DeSantis has bigger political problems now? He could probably explain away the law you cite to the satisfaction of a lot of voters.

You may well be right about this law, but getting a nickname from President Trump is a a bigger problem politically. Having President Trump tag you with a nickname has a way of ending a person’s political rise. Ask all those guys who ran against him in the 2016 primaries.

Plus, if Kari Lake is elected and governs like she says she will, DeSantis’ star will quickly fade.
