I see it as a warning shot across DeSantis's bow. A warning to NOT ally himself with the RINO wing of the party and be used as a stooge to try and split the vote between him and Trump in 2024. Not the first time the left tried to push a "spoiler" candidate to derail someone they feared.

If DeSantis stays true to MAGA, his time will certainly come. Look at Pence. He could have easily been the next president in 2024. How's his political career working out for him now?
