I've read Desantis allowed FIMA to help Florida after Trump had called him and asked him not to allow FIMA to aid Florida. Desantis refused to listen to that request and then went on to bash Trump to other Generals behind his back calling Trump names. Trump doesnt like to work with people that arent loyal. Maybe Trump is testing Desantis, seeing how he handles pushback and name calling. Or maybe its something deeper.
