Yes, it does. It was a tongue-in-cheek comment- you apparently missed the joke . . . .

The point was that these jerks are not anything but evil conspirators. THAT'S an appropriate title. Calling them "architects" glorifies and normalizes them. Anyway . . . I cringe every time.
