A Christian response to David French and the call for Covid amnesty
It's one of the first moral lessons a good parent will teach their child. When you wrong someone else, you swallow your pride, admit your fault, and ask for forgiveness. Is it pleasant or enjoyable? Of course not. Is it an essential prerequisite for any me...
Christian forgiveness does not absolve liability for the act. Whatsoever a man sows, this shall he reap. As long as the lying whore media, big pharma, and powerful politicians and their appointees are held accountable, I'm happy to forgive.
Forgiveness does not = amnesty. The evil behind the world lock down, the experimental vaccines, and vaccine mandates should NEVER receive amnesty for their crimes!
There is no forgiveness without true repentance.
Indeed. As long as they then realize it doesn't negate the consequences. Forgiveness ain't a get out jail free card.
I think this article appropriately points out that while forgiveness is something I do because I have been forgiven by God; it is not dependent on another's repentance. On the other hand repentance is something one does to initiate forgiveness from God or a party that has been wronged. While our forgiveness does not hinge on the perpetrator's repentance, our forgiveness also does not absolve them of the legal liability, consequences and punishment for their actions. I think this article is a good way for Christians to react to this ridiculous gaslighting attempt by Oster.
Well said!
