That is absolutely true. When I buy something I ALWAYS check the comments and even one well stated criticism about a product gives me pause and often a few negatives will stop my purchase even if overall it has a decent rating. It's funny because Amazon sent me a survey once that I filled out and they asked questions about whether or not I believe they were manipulating the comments and of course my answer was YES...absolutely. I had read some people's complaints that their comments were eliminated or they weren't accepted so really...how stupid do they think we are!
