I believe their reasoning is that age discrimination is acceptable when considering firearm purchases since the 18-20 demographic is more likely to commit violent crimes than other age demographics. Following this same reasoning, are other types of discrimination also acceptable for other demographics that are more likely to commit violent crimes?

I'm not making an argument that this policy is acceptable for any demographic; I'm only pointing out the hypocrisy of this particular situation.
