That's just the enemies attorney, not the enemy. He just says and does what he's paid to do.
In this world there's the good, the evil, and the attorneys.
You never have to question an attorney's loyalties. Because they're all loyal to money.
I'd take 10 soldiers of fortune over 1000 troops with questionable loyalty.
You know the old saying: "Mercenaries do it for the money." Attorneys are the same thing. I don't put em on a pedestal. I don't think they're scum either. They are what they are.
So listen to the enemy's attorney, and read between the lines what the enemy is really saying (not what their lawyer was paid to say).
What the enemy is saying is, "we're gonna take as long as we need to affect the outcome in our favor".
SOP, or Attorney, it's the same thing to me, if either one is trying to kill me, that one is the enemy....
But yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about, the Lawyers Loyalty is a thing I've discussed, and their First Loyalty is to the ""Court"", aka the Money....
Their Second Loyalty might be to his Dog, Mistress, Children, even maybe his Wife, or Poker Buddies.....
His Third Loyalty is probably his Car, ir possibly a Dig Turd on his Lawn, whereas, any Loyalty to the Client lays soewhere down the list all depending upon how Dangerous, Rich, and Influential the Client is, and in this case, how mych REACH his client has....
I'd listen to him because sometimes, they drop valuable clues, and don;t even realize it, and other times they drop them knowingly....
I don’t spend time listening to the enemy, I spend time listening to the Lord. Any word that comes out of Hillary Clinton’s mouth, or her lawyer, is a lie. Every single one. Why would I wanna spend my time listening to lies. Her father is the father of all lies, I have zero cares to give for that.
So you would not listen to the ENEMY while he tells you their plans??
