Pennsylvania state representative reelected despite being dead

A Pennsylvania state representative was reelected during the midterm elections Tuesday, despite the fact that he died last month. A special election will follow soon for his seat.

Assuming Jr. is alive, when senior passes away, the “jr” prefix is dropped.
