If your talking about Tompkins county. Ithaca and Cornell university are within that county so it is totally plausible it is filled with libs and college aged voters who would outnumber the farmers in the area. Also any area around a college is going to be bought up by the rich

That's probably it. It seemed so odd when looking at the map of NY with all the red counties, and the one that was even bluer than Manhattan!
