Dude, you're single. That would make it much easier! And are you kidding? So many fat, lazy, brainwashed Americans, getting a job would likely be the least of your problems. I'm not joking. Employers everywhere are looking for help. On a farm? That would probably be even easier because it's so hard to get people to work, especially manual labor. As for coming in legally, sure, that would be ideal. I honestly don't even know what's required, but I hear biden is going to require anybody coming to the USA to be vaxxed, so if you're going to do it, your window might be closing. If you come illegally, they don't care if you're vaxxed, apparently. You can always go through the legalities once you get here. Claim asylum or something. Think about it. I'm serious.
You know... I'll actually consider it more seriously, I had given up on the idea for a long time
I'd still like to avoid getting in illegally at all costs, because I'd feel like a huge hypocrite, but if it gets as bad as I think it will around here, I might actually need to seek asylum.
Yeah, think about it. I don't know what it takes to enter legally, but it might not be that bad. Worth checking out, anyway. The worst part of things right now is that the price of stuff is so high. Food, rent, gas, etc. But then, I don't know what you've been dealing with there. If you could at least start out in a lower-cost-of-living state, that would be advisable. Get your feet wet, get the lay of the land, and then go wherever you want when you've had a chance to figure things out. Also, keep in mind that since biden took office (so, less than two years ago) 5.5 million illegals have crossed the border unabated. At least you'd have a reason (asylum.) Good luck with your decision.
