My kid's elementary school has had two ambulances called in since last Thursday. One for a staff member, and the other for a parent at a teacher conference.
There have been at least 2-3 other incidents this year as well.
Remember how frequently ambulances were called to your grade school??? I don't recall that happening a single time when I was in elementary school. Virtually every staff member and parent is under 50, so this is very odd.
About a month ago, at a nearby school (same district), a 42 year old women dropped dead, at school while she was attending her kid's class party.
Crazy times...
Never in 12 years on the same school campus was an ambulance called for anyone, from the oldest teacher to the littlest student. Now I’m hearing about this becoming common at schools around the country 😢
I remember maybe 4-5 deaths of classmates and teachers in my entire time at school to cancer ,liver disease and a car wreck. None during school hours. I also remember maybe another 2 kids in sports having heat stroke and dying during practice, but at different local schools. That was over a 13 year period.
