I often come up with ideas, thoughts, inventions, etc., when I'm half awake (or is it half asleep?) This morning I woke up thinking that the Chuck Berry song "Johnny B. Goode" could be written to be a "Trump song". Here it is:
Deep down in New York state you could've barely seen . Way back among the suburbs in the evergreens . There stood a mansion that was not a dump . Where lived a city boy named Donald J Trump . Who never ever learned to be polite, oh well . But he could razz the Dems just like ringing a bell
[Chorus] Go, go Go Donny go, go Go Donny go, go Go Donny go, go Go Donny go, go Donald J. Trump
[Verse 2] He used to hoist his ego right up on his back . While building skyscrapers near the railroad track . Oh, the workers would see him sitting in the shade . Wishing that they had all the millions he made . People passing by they would stop and say . Oh my, that city man surely gets his pay
[Chorus] Go, go Go Donny go, go Go Donny go, go Go Donny go, go Go Donny go, go Donald J. Trump
[Verse 3 His mother said "you're not mean and you're quite o.k. . Some day you'll be the leader of the U.S.A. . Many people coming from miles around . To hear your speeches when the sun go down . Maybe someday your name will be in lights . Saying 'Donald J. Trump Tonight'"
[Chorus] Go, go Go Donny go Go go go, Donny go Oh go go, Donny go Oh go go, Donny go Go, Donald J. Trump
Like it... now someone do it on Karaoke pls
One of the hardest things is that some lines have twelve syllables, some have 11, and some have 10. I think it could be sung with the same cadence as the original.
I would post it to twitter, but the character limit would mean multiple posts, and since I'm confined to replying to other tweets to get any eyes on, I don't think that would work. It would be fun to see the leftists comment to it.
