I don't think Desantis is DS ... Voting wouldn't have been fixed in FL ... But he's clearly talking with them. I pray this is MAGA strategy and not a Bush 'strategery' ploy to lure Desantis.
Desantis' situation reminds me a lot of W Bush. I know W Bush is DS by DNA, but the media was going nuts over him after his reelection win for TX Gov back in 1998 at a time when the right really wanted a conservative more along the lines of Reagan. I don't think many people were even aware he was governor of TX until he announced (kinda strange for a POTUS son though Bush' behavior wasn't exactly POTUS material in the early 1990s).
