I believe it was the common flue with a couple of gene splices here and there so most immune systems didn't recognize it.

Yeah, I don’t know. The problem is, last I heard, no one has the sequence. So, it’s not detectable.

I personally feel like it was the vaccine that was the goal to push, and the cold rebranding was the way to get it done.
