Not to pat myself on the back, but whenever we heard the awful stories in school of things like Nazis, or even psychological experiments, of normal people turning on their fellow mankind for safety, expediency, or societal pressure, I always wondered if I’d fall in line and convince myself it was ok, or if I’d challenge it and stand for what’s right, even if it meant going through hell.

Now I, and so many people here, know who we are. And we should be damn proud of if.
