Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.

It could have been the rice; maybe it was too much carbs for the meal. I think that perhaps if you repeat the experiment with just the meat and kimchi, you could go into ketosis, and be able to live on this diet indefinitely without feeling sick. You'd have to really burn up the extra glycogen stores in your liver in the first few days to prevent yourself from getting the "keto flu" but after that, you'd be golden. Lol. I think you need to try a keto version of your experiment.
Oh, dude, that's a bummer. Very interesting about the skin changes with keto, and that really sucks. I got something similar with patches on my face...mine were hormone related, and I don't think they're ever going to go away.
Anyway, Korean food is just not the same without the rice, lol.
